Welcome to my photography website!

I am a serious recreational photographer with particular interest in artistic nude photography and photography of unique contemporary architecture, although I sometimes delve into other subjects. I strive to place the main emphasis in my work on elegant composition and the capture of beautiful and visually impressive subjects with an artistic touch and quality lighting. I work hard at continually refining my skills and artistic sense and at creating the most beautiful images I can in every situation.

My photographs have been published in several architecture books and in the online versions of major U.S. national media, including the U.S. News and World Report (travel section), Wired Magazine, and Treehugger.com, and selected for use as optional screensavers by Microsoft and used to illustrate several travel websites.

I am interested in select photographic collaborations with artistic possibilities, so if you have something special in mind that you feel we could work on together, please do not hesitate to contact me. Although photography is a hobby and a passion for me rather than a main source of income, I also undertake occasional paid assignments that interest me. I can provide unique high-quality photography for special personal or commercial projects for a very reasonable fee and I welcome inquiries about such assignments. To avoid mixing my photography work with my full-time employment, I only identify my photography work with my photographer name "o palsson". I am based in North Carolina, but travel extensively and do much of my photography during travel in the U.S. and internationally.
